Iona College is an independent Catholic boys school, owned and administered by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
When we were approached by Iona College we conducted a thorough breakdown of their existing website and listed their top 3 frustrations
1. The website was boring, ugly and non interactive
2. The website structure was poorly designed and navigation throughout the site was difficult
3. The website was using an old Content Management System and needed to be updated to support new technologies
We also identified Iona's main objectives.
Objectives
- To improve communication between parents, staff and students
- To showcase the school’s point of difference and convey a warm welcoming image of Iona College
- To be able to maintain the website in-house by use of a Content Management System
- To have an aesthetically appealing online presence that students and staff could be proud of
- For the new website to be compatible with the IPad and smart phone devices
Outcome
- A new online marketing tool that is more accessible and intuitive to users
- An engaging website full of personality, photo galleries and relevant content for students, staff and parents
- A website Content Management System that can be used in-house by staff to update website regularly
- A website that can be viewed and interacted with on multiple devices
